2017 has been a banner year for travel. I set foot on four continents, traveling to Mongolia in February, Ecuador and the Galapagos in June and Scotland and Iceland in October. Stateside I made a couple of trips to Yosemite and a fall trip to the Eastern Sierra, among others. I also started working with a new (to me) printing process, Palladium over Pigment, bringing color into my handmade work for the first time since I printed Cibachrome in the late 80's. For this year's year end small print sale I've decided to offer three images made in this process. One from each of three countries I visited. All prints were made on the wonderful Hahnemühle Platinum Rag paper
Choose one, two or all three of these hand-made palladium over pigment prints (the more you buy, the cheaper they get). Each image is approximately 5"x7" printed on 8"x10" Hahnemühle Platinum Rag paper. Only 10 prints of each image will be offered at these special rates. The price includes the print only, unmatted, hand-printed, signed and numbered by Yours Truly. Prints will be shipped via Priority Mail. I will do my best to beat the Christmas deadline, and the sooner you order, the better the chance. This offer is good until January 1, 2018.

Carol and I spent about a week on the Scottish isle of Lewis and Harris in September with our good friends Carl and Liz Radford. The Standing Stones of Callanish were erected nearly 5,000 years ago. Standing next to them and touching them puts our very brief time on this planet into perspective.
